2023.11.27   Handling precautions for S3-coated products

S3 coated product must receive appropriate care and handling to avoid damaging the S3 coating and to assure satisfactory performance of the product.
Be sure to use detergents or chemicals described as “neutral” to clean the products. Acidic and alkaline agents will damage S3 coating.
Also, water-stain remover, skin lotion, fruit juice, etc. often contain acid or alkali components and will harm finished surface. If such a liquid and other spills on the product, rinse it off with water immediately and dry it off thoroughly.

There are counterfeits being falsely sold as Sugino products on internet shopping sites.　Especially “China Mall” and “Taobao” are openly selling a large number of the counterfeits. Also, at “Shopee”, we found counterfeits of Super ZEN144, our high-end model, sold as an authentic.
The act of selling counterfeits is contrary to the laws.
We checked these counterfeits and confirmed that their quality was below our standards. So, please don’t buy counterfeits as they may threaten your safety.
Sugino products are sold at our official online store "Sugino Store" or through the official agencies of "Suginio Engineering" in Japan. We have no responsibility or obligation for the counterfeit products

We have made updates to our Terms & Conditions of Sales.

These are the Articles we made changes.

1. Free shipping minimum:
Free shipping minimum is raised from JPY 20000.-to JPY30000.- (only merchandise subtotal, not including handling fee.)

2. Shipping Method :
EMS or DHL (It is the seller's discretion to decide which shipping method is appropriate for your order.

3. Handling fee :
The existing Handling Fee is decreased from 6% to 5%. A 5% of the sum of merchandise prices and shipping fee (if applicable) will be charged as a handling fee.

However, longer ship times can be expected during peak seasons, such as Christmas, and year-end/new year season. As EPA was adopted between European countries and Japan,
many goods exported from Japan will be exempt from customs duties.
Our Bicycle Parts are made in Japan and should satisfy the rules of origin
under EPA. So, we will attach "Statement on Origin" to all the packages

The common problem of the BB90 bottom bracket is that the bearing is not well sealed, allowing dust and water to penetrate into the bearing. So, the bearings need drying out, cleaning and re-greasing every time you go out in the rain.
